We invite you to study at the Latvian Biblical Centre! We are waiting for everyone who wants to deepen their knowledge of God’s Word so that they can understand it better and apply it in the church and beyond it for God’s glory! The wise seek knowledge!
This September studies will begin in the programmes “Theology and Ministry” and “School of Preachers”. The opening of the academic year will take place on Friday, 11 September at 18:00, in Riga, Kraslavas iela 27 - in the courtyard of the Salvation Temple church building, near the Abrenes iela bus terminus.
The programme “Theology and Ministry” is intended for everyone, without age restriction, who wants to grow in understanding God’s Word and therefore in relationships, love for God and a godly character. It will be especially useful for people involved in ministry: small-group leaders, Sunday-school teachers, chaplains, workers of Christian organisations and similar.
Studies will take place on one or two Saturdays, all day depending on the subject, and on two weekday evenings from 18:00 to 21:00. This programme can also be studied by distance learning, individually or in study groups of two or more people.

The programme “School of Preachers” is intended for pastors and church leaders who have potential in preaching. Studies will take place in the form of seminars and will be held approximately every three months. Within this two-year programme there are 8 in-person seminars and small preacher-group meetings approximately once a month between the in-person seminars.
Translation into Latvian and Russian is provided for all lectures. Teachers are qualified experts and professionals in their fields from various countries, including Great Britain, the USA and Latvia.
The Norwegian School of Leadership and Theology, in cooperation with the Latvian Biblical Centre, also offers the bachelor’s programme “Theology and Leadership”. The bachelor’s programme is accredited. Studies in the bachelor’s programme take place in English in a distance-learning format.
LBC is one of the largest interdenominational non-formal education institutions in Latvia, with more than 25 years of operating experience. Its aim is to train church leaders and members for ministry, practically applying God’s Word and teaching ministry skills. LBC is an educational institution recognised by Latvia’s largest denominations.
