Bible Festival 2012

The Latvian Evangelical Alliance (LEA), in cooperation with Riga Christian churches, is organizing the “Bible Festival” for the third year already; it is planned for September 15, 2012, in Riga, in Vermane Garden. The Bible Festival is a wonderful opportunity to affirm Christian values in society in unity. It is an opportunity for society to affirm the importance of God's Word in our lives and also to show that, in our diversity, God's Word unites us.

We invite your church, congregation or organization to take an active part on this day in promoting God's Word in society. You are given the opportunity to place your tent or canopy in the territory of Vermane Garden, or to arrange a stand in another way, in order to present your organization or congregation as a bearer of the truth of God's Word. It would also be desirable to organize some activities. Presentations by organizations and congregations will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., but activities may continue until the end of the festival at 7:00 p.m.
