Integration of biblical principles in education, conferences

Dear school principals and teachers!
Greetings in the new school year!

 We are glad for the opportunity to continue organizing teachers' conferences. We do this work with the awareness that teachers have an important role in shaping a nation. This time, as before, we warmly invite you to participate, enrich your knowledge, receive spiritual fulfillment, emotional strengthening and motivation for further work.
Latvian Christian Mission, in cooperation with the Latvian Christian Teachers Association, the Latvian Evangelical Alliance, Youth With A Mission and other Christian organizations, continues to offer very useful knowledge for social, professional and personal growth in the teachers' conferences "Integration of Biblical Principles in Education", organized for 15 years and receiving your response and recognition. We invite you to attend the conference on October 22-23. The next conferences of this school year will take place on January 21-22 and April 21-22.
The conference will be opened by Cardinal Jānis Pujats, Archbishop Metropolitan of the Riga Archdiocese.

Teaching at the conference:

Jeff Fountain - director of European Mission;
Edgars Mažis - Master of Theology, pastor of Āgenskalns Baptist Church;
Carolyn Banks - regional director of the University of La Verne College of Education, Bible study leader;
Sara Mietzner - pastor at Ventura Missionary Church, California, USA;
Wally Schoon - psychology and Bible teacher from Sweden, and others.

Certificates confirming completion of the course "Integration of Biblical Principles in Education" will be issued at the April conference to teachers who have participated in two or three conferences during this school year.
Invited: directors of educational institutions and teachers currently working in schools. Russian-speaking teachers are also warmly invited, because translation into Russian will be provided.

on weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00. If you have registered but cannot attend, please call and cancel your participation, giving the place to another teacher.

Venue: Lāčplēša iela 117, Riga (10 minutes on foot from Riga Central Railway Station).
Participation fee - donation Ls 8.00, which includes lunch, coffee breaks and, for those who need it, overnight accommodation with breakfast and dinner.
Registration: Saturday, October 22, from 8:00 to 10:00. Teachers participating in the conference for the first time will receive a Bible!
The conference opening is at 10:00. Lectures will continue on Saturday until 18:00 and on Sunday from 8:30 to 15:00.
There will be an opportunity to purchase Christian literature and methodological materials at the book table.
During the conference we invite you to sign up to receive Children's Bibles. After the conference you will be able to receive the number of Children's Bibles you need.
