For Clergy: “Alpha Conversations” 08.11.

An inseparable part of a clergyman's daily life is confirmation instruction, leading and accompanying servants, fellowship, and also conversations with married couples and engaged couples.
Is there a place in church life and mission work for Alpha, pastorates, the Marriage Course, and the Pre-Marriage Course? Is it an additional burden for church workers, or support for the clergyman and an opportunity to involve other church members in ministry?
How many resources does Alpha require, and what is its return? Can Alpha be integrated into catechesis? Does a church, by organizing an Alpha course, lose its confessional identity?
Alpha conversations will take place on Friday, 8 November, 18:00-20:00, at the Teresa parish house near the Catholic Gymnasium in Riga, O. Vaciesa Street 6.
18:00-18:15 What is the experience of Alpha servants?
