”Identity and Calling of a Woman”, Conference

30.01.2013.

Warm greetings!
Every woman is something precious and special for God. The Lord invites every woman to get to know and to experience His Love so that she could joyfully follow His calling. Yet, this road can sometimes be more complicated than we have anticipated: emotional hurts, overly high expectations from ourselves, and disappointment reduces the joy to live.

How can we allow God to heal us, support us and teach to help other women?

We invite you to participate at the first interdenominational women’s Conference ”Identity and Calling of a Woman”, Riga, March 8 and 9.

The main speaker and encourager of the conference will be Shelly Cook Volkhardt from US. Shelly is the author of several books and serves women in many countries of the world. There will be other women as well who will serve in a special way during the Conference: Kristīne Maže, Gita Medne, Lienīte Bēmera, Christina Bardill, Ester Petrenko, Baiba Ozolinkēviča and others. Each of us will have opportunities to share and receive encouragement, prayer, find ways to continue relationships and cooperation in the future.

We invite women from different congregations, organizations, businesses, government sector and other spheres of live, and we are looking forward to meet new friends and opportunities to listen into the lives of different women.

In addition to Shelly’s lectures there will also be conversations, worship, meetings in interest groups and celebration of womanhood and God's closeness.
