Krauklis Fund campaign until May 28

For the third year already we have been helping families with children who have fallen into poverty. We currently provide regular support to about 1,000 families. There are many families where mothers work, but it is difficult for them alone to support two or more children. There are families where both providers are unemployed, even though they are trying to find work. In Germany our cooperation partners are ready to donate 20 tons of food; we only need to bring it here.

Bringing the food currently costs 1600 Ls. This food, together with food donated by local companies, will be enough to provide poor families in Riga and another 8 (soon already 10) Latvian cities with a food package every week for at least two months. This small food support that we can give strengthens awareness and gives hope for good.
