BYF Worship and Prayer Evening

The Baltic Youth Festival invites you to the first Worship and Prayer Evening!
In preparation for the Baltic Youth Festival, on 24 February at 19:00 at “Ceriba” church (Riga, Nometnu Street 31), the first Worship and Prayer Evening will take place, where together we will entrust the upcoming festival to God's guidance.
Several Prayer Evenings are planned in the period before the festival, taking place in churches of various denominations. With the first Prayer Evening at the Pentecostal church “Ceriba”, we want to ignite the hearts of Latvia's believers in common prayer for young people. Pastors, youth leaders, church members, and everyone involved in festival preparation are invited to the Worship and Prayer Evening. During the evening we will unite both in songs of worship and in common prayers for the most varied needs connected with the festival.
The Festival Prayer Committee invites everyone each evening at 22:00 to unite in prayer for young people and for the preparation and course of the festival. Your support and prayers are very significant for every young person who has not yet come to know God.
The Baltic Youth Festival will take place on 9 June 2012 at Arena Riga. It is organized by the churches of the Baltic states in cooperation with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA). The aim of the Baltic Youth Festival is to reach thousands of young people in Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia with the Gospel message in the context of a youth music concert. BGEA has broad experience organizing youth festivals in the USA and Canada, but the festival in Riga will be the first youth music festival organized by BGEA in Europe. However, this is not only a music festival, but an opportunity for the whole Christian community of Latvia to unite in order to reach and address young people in a musical language they understand.
With best wishes,
