The wise seek knowledge - come study at the Latvian Biblical Centre!

 

God has revealed Himself to us in His Word. In it we come to know Him, His character and essence, and also what He expects from us. If you want to deepen your knowledge of God’s Word so that you can understand it better and serve your fellow people in the church and beyond it for God’s glory, then join the community of Latvian Biblical Centre students already this academic year!

 

This September studies will begin in the programme “Theology and Ministry” and in the new programme “Christianity, Work and Society”. The opening of the academic year will be on Friday, 6 September at 18:00, in Riga, Kraslavas iela 27 - in the courtyard of the Salvation Temple church building, near the Abrenes iela bus terminus.

 

Studies in the programme “Theology and Ministry” take place on one or two Saturdays, all day depending on the subject, and on two weekday evenings from 18:00 to 21:00. There is also an opportunity to study by distance learning, individually or in study groups by forming a study group of two or more people. At present there is an active study group in Liepaja that can also be joined. In the programme “Christianity, Work and Society”, studies will take place in the form of seminars approximately every two months. After each seminar, participants will meet monthly in study and support groups.

 

Translation into Latvian and Russian is provided for all lectures. Teachers are qualified experts in their fields from various countries, including Great Britain, the USA, Australia and Latvia.

 

The Norwegian School of Theology and Leadership, in cooperation with the Latvian Biblical Centre, also offers the bachelor’s programme “Theology and Leadership”. The bachelor’s degree is accredited. Studies in the bachelor’s programme take place in English in a distance-learning format.

 

 

LBC is one of the largest interdenominational non-formal education institutions in Latvia, with 25 years of operating experience. Its aim is to train church leaders and members for ministry, practically applying God’s Word and teaching ministry skills.
