Persecution of Christians Around the World - Where Faith Is Most Important

At present the greatest persecution of Christians of all time is taking place in the world. Approximately 100 million Christians worldwide are persecuted because of their faith.

Therefore the Latvian Biblical Centre, in cooperation with the organisation OpenDoors Germany, invites you to a meeting/presentation on this topic.

The aim of the meeting is to inform Christians in Latvia about persecution in the world and to call them to stand in prayer for those persecuted.

The meeting will take place on 4 March at 17:00 in the premises of Salvation Temple Church, Lacplesa iela 117, Riga. It will take place in Russian with translation into Latvian if needed.

The presentation will be led by Peters Siemens - an OpenDoors representative who in the 1970s worked in an underground printing house in Latvia.

OpenDoors has for 50 years helped more than 100 million Christians in more than 50 countries, supplying Bibles and Christian literature and helping with various projects. OpenDoors is an interdenominational organisation that helps persecuted Christians.
