OGRE BIBLE FESTIVAL

Good day, dear brothers and sisters!

There is good news for the city of Ogre: believers will celebrate a festival in honour of the Bible.
For the twelfth year we are faithfully trying to popularise Holy Scripture, the values of Christian life, and our benevolent attitude toward the city of Ogre and its residents in society, inviting people to participate in Bible readings, shared prayers and singing, concerts, performances, creative workshops, games and various other activities.

This year the Bible festival will again take place in the centre of Ogre city - in the square by the tunnel. The programme will include not only Bible readings, but also reflections and explanations about current topics. Listeners will be able to ask questions and receive answers from pastors.

This year two tents will stand next to the square where people can receive spiritual help and intercession. New participants will also take part in the festival programme, for example two musical youth groups from Riga.

Children with parents are invited to Saturday’s programme “DAY FOR THE FAMILY”. Children are invited to creative workshops to take part in the charity campaign “YOU ARE NOT ALONE!”. They will make gifts both for themselves and for elderly people.

You are warmly invited to the 12th Ogre Bible Festival so that together we may rejoice and be in the presence of the Father’s love.
Let us not remain at home or in our gardens when God’s call sounds to manifest His Word, the fellowship and unity of His church, loving God and people!
