Nathan Morris in Riga, 22-24.08

The Latvian Evangelical Alliance and the Association of Latvian Pentecostal Churches are jointly organizing an evangelistic event with the participation of British evangelist Nathan Morris.

Nathan Morris is a pastor's son who had turned his back on God and was living a life of sin. Until one day in 2002 the power of God touched him and changed him forever. On that day Nathan was alone in his parents' home. Suddenly the fire of God came upon him, and he was knocked to the floor. After this experience Nathan began preaching the gospel on the streets. Soon afterward he began Saturday evening services in his father's church. People travelled from different parts of Great Britain and experienced a tangible presence of God in these services.

In 2006 Nathan founded Shake The Nations Ministries to preach the gospel around the world. During his ministry he has seen more than 100,000 people choose to give their lives to Jesus Christ, and he has also seen many who were sick healed in the power of the Spirit of God.

For the last three years Nathan Morris has lived in Mobile, USA, and ministered together with pastor John Kilpatrick, one of the leaders of the Pensacola revival of the 1990s. Their joint ministry, Bay Revival, holds revival services in various cities in the USA. As a result of the ministry, people are set free from the power of sin, healed from various illnesses, and filled with the Holy Spirit.

We believe that during these services God will also glorify His name in Latvia with mighty power, signs, and wonders.

The evangelistic services will take place from 22 to 24 August in Riga, Unijas Street 99, in the large hall of the Christian Centre “Good News”.

The event begins on Thursday, 22 August, at 19:00. On Friday, 23 August, at 14:00 and 19:00 there will be youth services. On Saturday, 24 August, at 11:00 evangelist Nathan Morris will minister to church leaders, and at 19:00 the closing service will take place.
