Does it cost something to be a Christian today?

Mission Days will take place from 9 to 11 February at Agenskalns Baptist Church, Riga, Marupes iela 14.

At this event every interested person will be able to learn about the development of mission in Latvia and the world, as well as gain a broader insight into what mission is.
The main speaker of Mission Days, Johan Candelin from Finland, will share his stories about experiences in Hindu and Islamic countries and elsewhere in the world. There will also be elective lectures, such as: history of mission in Latvia; building a partner team, or how to attract resources for mission work; the Christian as a bearer of peace in conflict zones; and a special lecture “Can a church fall in love with mission?” intended for church leaders and pastors as an insight into how a church can get involved in mission.

The participation fee is 15 EUR per person; however, when registering a group of 10 persons, each participation fee is 12.50 EUR until 20 January.

Within Mission Days an Open Evening will also be held on 10 February, where the Word will be heard and there will be time for worship. Entrance is free.
