Our Lord has given us a holy faith to pray to Him and God’s Word so that we may know His will. He has placed us in this time as watchmen for this nation and for Christ’s Church, so that we would be awake and pray for His will to be done here. It is not only an opportunity; it is a task.
... The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. Elijah was a man like us, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months.
