Prayer has very GREAT power when it comes from the heart. In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus Christ spoke simple but very important words: "Ask, and it will be given to you" /Matthew 7:7/.
Paul says in another letter that we should pray in faith. Therefore our prayer, testimony or word without faith is dead. We want to invite Christians to pray in faith for the spiritual awakening of our nation. God's Word calls us to pray. How powerful it is that in Latvia there is a group of Christians who, with zeal and pain in their hearts, stand for an unbelieving nation. Christ hears our prayers! The Lord will give us awakening! ONLY we must begin with ourselves, and then great things will happen in people's lives through God. First we will pray that God makes us as Christians clean and pure, because then we can be God's anointed and usable servants. Prayer has great significance. If we do not pray, nothing will happen. If we do not pray for awakening and fire for our land, God will not send it. Today is the time to pray and stand. Yes, many will say that people have prayed for years and nothing happens. Jesus said: "Believe in God and believe in Me!" This means that we, as God's children, must arm ourselves with all the weapons of God and continue to pray. For God has promised that our land will be healed.
"They go from strength to strength, until each appears before God in Zion." /Psalm 84:8/
