Heartbeat Tallinn 24.07 - 29.07.2012

Agape Latvia invites you to join us and the rest of the Agape Europe staff, as well as our friends and volunteers from around the world, to take part in a unique event. From July 24 to 29 we will gather in Estonia's capital, Tallinn, to spend one week together. It will be a week of encouragement, training, meetings, prayer and evangelism called “Heartbeat Tallinn”. Once every four years a Europe-wide conference is held, bringing together 2,500 Agape staff and volunteers from across Europe. But
this summer our gathering will be special because we will be united by an evangelism effort across all of Estonia.

Agape Europe is a broad network of mission fields: youth, students, families, leaders, sports ministry, as well as humanitarian aid, media, arts and church development. Workers from all these fields will gather in Tallinn. A certain time at the beginning of each day will be devoted to teaching from God's Word and encouragement. In the afternoon, together with members of Estonian churches, we will spread out through the city to share Christ's love with the people of Estonia. In the evening there will be events open to the wider public, such as concerts by Israel Houghton and
performances by illusionist Andre Kole, as well as evangelistic events with Josh McDowell.

We would especially like to invite you to two events. First, an event called “Shine” will be dedicated to young people. It will gather 500-900 young people from all over Europe for an exciting week filled with entertainment, substantial evangelism and discipleship training, so that when they return home young people will be able to “reflect” Christ to their peers. The regular participation fee for this event is 200 EUR, but for participants from Latvia we are able to offer a special price: 30 EUR per person. This is a fantastic opportunity for youth

Second, on July 28 Christians from all over Estonia will gather to take part in “Christ Day”. Christians from all churches and denominations will come together to call upon the Lord and devote themselves to prayer for their cities and villages. More information is available at www.kristuspaev.ee
