LBC offers the following study programmes:
- Certificate “Theology and Ministry”;
- Diploma “Theology and Leadership” or “Christian Education”;
- Bachelor’s “Theology and Leadership”.
The opening of the new academic year will be on Friday, 9 September at 18:00, in the LBC premises in Riga, Agenskalns, Marupes iela 16.
Studies at the Latvian Biblical Centre take place in Riga (Agenskalns, Marupes iela 16) and in our branches in Jelgava and Jekabpils (location to be specified) one week a month from Thursday to Saturday (weekday evenings from 18:00 to 21:00, Saturday all day). There is also an opportunity to study by distance learning.
Translation into Latvian and Russian is provided. Teachers are qualified experts in their fields from various countries, including Great Britain, the USA, Australia and Latvia.
People with various life paths, experience and professions study at the Latvian Biblical Centre. They are teachers, lecturers, chaplains, pastors, Sunday-school teachers, lawyers, architects and other Christians who want to deepen their knowledge and understanding of Biblical truths.
The Norwegian School of Theology and Leadership, in cooperation with the Latvian Biblical Centre, also offers the bachelor’s programme “Theology and Leadership”. The bachelor’s degree is accredited. Studies in the bachelor’s programme take place in English in a distance-learning format.
LBC is one of the largest interdenominational non-formal education institutions in Latvia, with more than 20 years of operating experience. Its aim is to train church leaders and members for ministry, practically applying God’s Word and teaching ministry skills. LBC is an educational institution recognised by Latvia’s largest denominations.
