From April 28 to 30 and from May 2 to 5, 2011, the film forum “And the word became film...” will take place in Riga at the Youth Center of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latvia www.jauniesucentrs.lv and at Agenskalns Baptist Church www.agenskalns.org. All films except “Sterstes” will be shown with simultaneous translation or subtitles in Latvian. Discussions will take place after the screenings, led by chaplain Rudite Losane, pastors Didzis Stilve and Agris Sutra, and film critic Anita Uzulniece. Organized by the foundation “Stunda”, supported by the Riga City Council Department of Education, Culture and Sports and the State Culture Capital Foundation. Admission by donations.
