Seminar on worship, 14.05

On May 14 at 12:00, a seminar on worship will take place at the club of the ELC of Latvia Youth Center, where participants will be able to learn about various forms of worshiping God in music. At the conclusion, everyone is invited to a worship service led by Pastor Krists Kalniņš.

The ELC of Latvia Youth Center invites: “Through the centuries, the Christian tradition has experienced many turns, but the road toward God has remained the same. In the corners of the world, Christians each play their own heart's flute to God, but the melody has remained the same for all. To some, another person's flute seems less understandable, to others even unacceptable. In this worship seminar we will search in the store of flutes left by the centuries for the very melody that sounds in every Christian heart... We will study how it sounds today as well.”

Worship leaders Kaspars Ezeriņš and Ieva Marta Graudiņa will speak about how to play this melody, and Gints Graudiņš will speak about the history of worship. At the end, everyone is invited to take part together in the liturgical worship service with Holy Communion led by Pastor Krists Kalniņš, in which Kaspars Ezeriņš and friends will draw near to God in worship by performing original liturgical music.

The seminar will take place in the new club of the ELC of Latvia Youth Center, “Melna aita”, where participants will also be able to enjoy lunch together, discuss and drink hot tea or coffee. Entrance fee - 3 lats, which will be used to provide lunch.
