History Makers prayers for Latvia

In 2006 God placed in our hearts the idea to begin “History Makers” prayer camps, where the main emphasis would be prayer. Now God has once again stirred our hearts to stand in prayer for the whole people of Latvia. Perhaps we do not have unbeatable talents, great wisdom, or powerful insight, but our hearts burn to see Latvia changed. Therefore we invite you as well to join this project.

Project description:

From 8 April to 25 August we invite everyone to participate in prayers for Latvia. During 20 weeks we will pray for every district and city of Latvia. We will also pray specifically for every church in Latvia. We have divided all of Latvia into 20 parts, so that each week we pray for a different region. Every Sunday evening we will send information to everyone by e-mail with the name of the district, cities, churches, and special prayer needs. It is possible to sign up for the prayer chain on the website pray.historymakers.lv

You can participate in this project in 2 ways:

• Share. Each week we will pray for a region of Latvia. In the first week we pray for the Ogre district. We also want to pray for your church. I invite you to send prayer needs for which we can pray.
• Pray. Participate in prayer and begin to pray for other regions and other churches.

If you want to receive weekly prayer needs, sign up at pray.historymakers.lv
You can pass the weekly prayer needs on to your church prayer groups, in this way covering Latvia with prayer.
 
One of the project's goals is also to create a fellowship network of youth leaders. We want youth leaders to be able to share their experience freely and build friendly relationships. Therefore, if there is a youth leader in your church, please send his or her contact information: name, surname, e-mail address, and phone number.

One evening in God's presence! Praise, worship, the Word, intercession... Yet again it is not about what we will do, but about WHOM we want to meet this evening! United with one goal and one prayer - let us come to meet and worship our King! It is impossible to describe what we are preparing! This time we will not reveal who will lead, who will speak, or who will participate this evening. That is not what it is about. History Makers has never been about people... it is something more! So let us come together and enjoy this time! Different peoples, different languages - but one goal!
