“Global Leadership Summit” already this week!

The “Global Leadership Summit” conference for leaders will take place in Riga this week

On November 23 and 24, the second Global Leadership Summit (GLS) conference in Latvia will take place in Riga, offering leaders from a wide range of fields a unique opportunity to learn from the world's most outstanding leaders. Latvia is one of 85 countries in the world where GLS conferences are taking place this year, inspiring and training about 450,000 local leaders in total.

Global Leadership Summit (GLS) is an international movement that brings together world-class leadership specialists to train everyone who sees themselves as a leader - in a company or non-governmental organization, in a church or interest group. GLS leadership video conferences take place every year in more than 70 countries around the world. The quality of GLS is shown by the ever-growing number of conference participants - in 2012, GLS conferences will be attended by 450,000 leaders in more than 285 cities worldwide through video broadcasts and video seminars.

More than 600 participants from all over Latvia have already registered for the conference in Riga. However, additional interested people may still register for the conference by signing up on the website www.glslatvija.lv, writing to glslatvija@gmail.com or calling +371 67284452 or +371 29368831.

GLS speakers are high-level leadership specialists from various fields and bestselling authors whose work is based on Christian principles. This year's video conference in Riga will feature addresses by Geoffrey Canada, Patrick Lencioni, Craig Groeschel, John Ortberg, Jim Collins, Pranitha Timothy and John Dickson.

The specialists invited to GLS conferences belong to different cultures, ethnic groups, languages, Christian denominations and professions. Yet they are united by one goal - to maximize the quality of their leadership in the area entrusted to them.

The GLS movement began in 1995 at Willow Creek Church in the USA, which is currently the third largest church in the United States, gathering 24,000 people for services each week. GLS conferences in more than 80 countries are organized by the Willow Creek Association, whose mission is to help local congregations and churches become more effective and increase the influence of a biblical worldview in society.

The goal of the Global Leadership Summit is the growth of Christian-minded leaders around the world by organizing training and providing the experience of outstanding leaders from both the Christian environment and the business world. The Global Leadership Summit conference challenges, inspires and offers new vision, inviting each participant to take leadership and responsibility in their professional field.

GLS will take place on November 23-24 in Riga, Unijas Street 99. More about the conference: www.glslatvija.lv; conference updates can also be followed on social networks: facebook and twitter
