“From Mind to Heart” Prayer Days!

We invite you to the Prayer Days!

FROM MIND TO HEART, 7-9 May 2012

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. /Proverbs 9:10/

This verse inspired the writer and Christian mystic A. W. Tozer (Aiden Wilson Tozer) to write his book “The Knowledge of the Holy”. In the book the author gives an inspiring and deep understanding of God's attributes, from God's self-sufficiency and infinity to love and grace, turning our attention to how we can recover God's glory, renew our prayer life, and experience His presence.

Roman Catholic Archbishop-Metropolitan of Riga Zbignevs Stankevics, Archbishop Janis Vanags of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latvia in Riga and Latvia, superintendent Gita Medne of the Latvian United Methodist Church, pastor Modris Ozolinkevics of Riga Pentecostal Church “Source of Life” and LEA president, and pastor Edgars Mazis of Riga Agenskalns Baptist Church will share their understanding and experience of God's attributes.

At these Prayer Days we invite you to reflect and listen to your heart, finding new insights about God's being and expression in your lives.

The Prayer Days will take place at “Hotel Arkadia”, located in Apsuciems, Tukums district (www.hotelarkadia.lv), from 7 to 9 May.

The Prayer Days will begin at 13:00 on Monday, 7 May (registration from 12:00) and will close on 9 May around 13:00.

Fee: registering by 9 April - 45 lats per participant. Registering later - 55 lats per participant.
For couples the price is 75 lats. The price includes accommodation at the hotel, meals, pool, and sauna.

The Prayer Days have taken place every year since 1999, and they are an interdenominational event for spiritual growth, where approximately 150 pastors, leaders of organizations and ministries, missionaries and their spouses are invited for three days to worship, reflect, pray, intercede, experience renewal, and have fellowship together with other brothers and sisters who also serve the Lord in Latvia.
