From Gregorian chant to gospel, 26.11

On Saturday, November 26 at 15:00, a seminar dedicated to sacred music, "FROM GREGORIAN CHANT TO GOSPEL", will take place at the Convent of the Sisters Servants (Ķīpsala, Enkura iela 9). "This time we are taking gospel seriously. We will learn to obtain the necessary vocal timbres, beat the rhythm correctly, sing and then, forgetting all of that, experience freedom in God, in worship and in music," Sister Inese tells the portal Maranathamusic.lv.

The master class will be led by Rīgas Gospelkoris leader Jānis Maslovskis and singer Jānis Kurševs, as well as members and musicians of Gospelkoris. As last year, priest Ilmārs Tolstovs will also participate in the seminar.
