Church Planting Conference

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ!

Thanks be to God for the opportunity to serve together, carrying the Gospel message. By participating in the Hope Festivals of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, we have witnessed the joy with which people receive the Good News and the diligence with which Christians, united together, work for God's glory.

And now before us is a new, God-given opportunity - the Baltic Youth Festival. Lack of hope, purposelessness, and lack of spirituality characterize the lives of most of today's young people. Already today we look with hope toward 9 June, when hundreds of young people, led by the Holy Spirit, will repent of their sins. Caring for them is the task of the churches, and it is very important to prepare for this work in good time.

Recognizing the importance of proclaiming the Good News and how important follow-up work is, we are planning a special conference devoted to the relevance of church planting in Europe and work with new Christians. It will take place on 19-20 April in Riga, Lacplesa Street 37.

Main conference topics:

• Loving God - loving people;

• Discipleship in youth culture;

• The church's main task - reaching the unsaved and preserving new Christians;

• Relationships - a way to reach people in today's culture;

• Etc.

Regretfully, we must acknowledge that the number of places at this conference is limited. Considering that representatives of other churches are also participating in the conference, we can receive 3 (three) participants from Latvian LEA churches. We invite you, taking into account your church's vision, to prepare and send us a list of potential conference participants.

It is recommended that among them there be:

• lead pastors and clergy who influence your denomination's mission awareness

• teachers at Christian educational institutions who prepare future leaders and pastors

• servants interested in planting new churches

• evangelists and missionaries
